Making Small Changes Can Make A Big Difference

Small changes can make a HUGE difference when working on your health. You'd be surprised at how many little things in your daily diet can wreak havoc without you realizing it.

For example, if you are used to having a burger for lunch, trying swapping it for a tuna or chicken sandwich on some sprouted bread and pack it in with a variety of fresh veg (aside from lettuce) and see if this makes a difference in your energy for the rest of the afternoon.

Keep track of your progress and try to make your own meals as much as you can so that you can control your ingredients!
It's also important to write down your meals and track your cravings. A lot of times the actual craving is not for what you think it is! For example, craving chips or french fries are sometimes a deficiency of healthy fats so adding a good quality fat to your sandwich (like avocado slices) can significantly shift your cravings from one small switch!

Keep a meal diary and look for patterns. If you are reaching for sweets a lot then it's important to introduce naturally sweet foods to help you push out the processed sugar craves. Some naturally sweet foods are things like fruits, carrots, beets, and sweet potatoes. 

After awhile your detective work will pay off. Not only around the waist but your mind and overall mood and energy will shift to a more optimal state!
